One Last Nicholas Event on September 9th

Chances are, if you lived in the Quakertown area before 1995, you shopped at Nicholas Hardware Store on Park Avenue just west of Rt. 309. Perhaps you even attended their annual antique and classic car show on the weekend after Labor Day.

Even if you never got to shop at the store or go to the car show, you will have a chance, next Saturday, September 9th, to attend one more Nicholas event. J.Pandur Auction Services is presenting an on-site sale at the former home of Gladys Nicholas on N. Ambler Street in Quakertown. Gladys sends her best wishes for fair weather and a good sale from her home in Florida!

Old photos of scenes in Quakertown including a picture from the original Nicholas Hardware Store at the corner of Hellertown Ave. and E Broad St. will be offered for sale.

There will also be a nice selection of fine and costume jewelry that Gladys decided to not take to Florida with her. Come bid on some great pieces of funky mid mod furniture and decorations, Hummels and other figurines, china, pottery, a sterling flatware set and other fun treasures!
